YALLAH ARTS FESTIVAL

2025 marks its second year, which brings together local SWANA community members and arts enthusiasts to celebrate both the rich history and dynamic future of arts in the SWANA region.
The festival highlights our cultural heritage through food, dance, music, and artisanal vendors.
Our goal is to create a space where those with SWANA roots feel a sense of belonging, connection to their history, and the freedom to explore and express contemporary artistic visions.

Saturday:

  • 10:00am-12:00pm Amel Tafsout Workshop (back studio).

  • 12:00pm-10:00pm Vendors & Food open to the public (main room).

  • 12:30pm-8:00pm Dance Performances (main room).

  • 12:30pm-2:30pm Amy Sigil Workshop (back studio).

  • 3:00-5:00pm Isabella Salimpour Workshop (back studio). 

  • 5:30pm-7:00pm The Fez documentary screening (back studio).

  • 8:30pm-10pm Live Music with Fadi Islambouli (main room).

Sunday:

  • 11:00am-1:00pm Zoe Jakes Workshop (back studio).

  • 12:00pm-4:00pm Vendors & Food open to the public (main room).

  • 12:30pm-3:30pm Dance Performances (main room).

  • 1:30pm-3:30pm Fadi Islambouli Workshop (back studio). 

Experience the Legacy: The FEZ Documentary Screening at Our Festival

The Fez- The first authentic Arabic Supperclub in Hollywood, California that became an icon of its time, famous around the world for it’s food, it’s atmosphere, and of course, for it’s music and dance. Opened in 1959 by Lou Shelaby, the Fez went on to feature many Arabic musicians and Belly Dancers who have gone on to inspire generations of dancers around the world.

Saturday Festival Entrance: $50

Sunday Entry Fee: $20

  • Includes all day/night entrance and access to: Festival vendors, Day show, Evening music showcase, The Fez Documentary viewing, Panel discussion, Debki Class and demonstration

VIP All-Access: $250

  • Includes all day/night entrance and access to Saturday and Sunday Festivals

  • Excludes Bal Anat show ticket

Workshops: $60 (per workshop)

  • Includes Festival Entrance on the day of your workshop.
