On Saturday, April 9, Detroit’s Russell Industrial Center hosts a trio of hip-hop legends and originators as Rakim, KRS-One and Slick Rick make up The Return of the Legends. With additional support coming from the likes of Chubb Rock and JJ Fad, nothing much more needs to be said about this event—it is one for the ages, in any age, and for any age! Within the confines of the studio and performance space hybrid Russel Industrial Center, The Return of the Legends sets to bridge the new generation with those who came first, setting the stage of the thriving culture that's hip-hop we all know today. Doors open at 8 pm but get there early cause this one will be a real Party Concert.
