The Cat's Glasses is a Denver-based genre-bending band led by trombonist and composer Jon Gauer. Their sound has been influenced not only by jazz classics but by jam bands, neo-soul, funk, and classic rock. After over a decade of collaborating on original music projects as a professional trombonist and arranger, Gauer started this band as a vehicle for his own music.

Members of The Cat's Glasses are also active elsewhere in the Colorado music scene, performing with groups such as Tansy Wine, Atomica, Dr. Lunch, Corgi Cartel, Brass Animals, Messenger Music Collective, and many more.
