The Big Drunk Spelling Bee

A live comedy game show where alcohol is the obstacle, spelling is the weapon, and the audience is part of the chaos.

The Big Drunk Spelling Bee is exactly what it sounds like: eight contestants, a table full of beer, a bunch of impossible words, and one very questionable path to glory.

On Friday, October 16th, 2026, Beertown Comedy takes over The Domino Room for a ridiculous spelling showdown hosted by Mike Litzenberg, where four comedians and four audience contestants compete to see who can still spell after the words get harder, the drinks keep coming, and the room starts turning into the world’s dumbest classroom.

Contestants must drink before they spell. Lifelines are chosen by spinning The Wheel of Bad Decisions. The audience can help, sabotage, cheer, heckle responsibly, and make the whole thing spiral beautifully out of control.

The last contestant standing wins the title of Big Drunk Spelling Bee Champion.

Come ready to laugh, yell letters at grown adults, and find out who can still spell “Worcestershire” after a few rounds.
