"Cult icon... of subversive genius" (Orlando Weekly) Joseph Keckler is a musician, singer, writer, recording and performing artist, and multifaceted creator whose songs and stories take audiences on enchanting, sometimes unsettling and absurdist, voyages. Channeling elements of performance art, classical music and rock and roll into an irreverent mode of his own, he has performed everywhere from dive bars and DIY venues to NPR Tiny Desk, Centre Pompidou and Lincoln Center. His most recent work, A Good Night in the Trauma Garden was commissioned by The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Dragon at the Edge of a Flat World, his story collection, was published by Turtle Point Press. He has toured with his critically-acclaimed production Train With No Midnight, as the national support act for Sleater-Kinney, on double bills with Lydia Lunch, and far and wide as a solo act. He is currently working on several new recordings and films.
Multi-faceted vocalist/songwriter/musician/performer/producer and restlessly creative femme fatale SYLVIA BLACK is hard to pin down. You may have last heard Sylvia’s rendition of the classic, ‘I Put A Spell On You’ for Netflix hit series ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ on their premiere episode. Or, you may have last seen her singing and cutting up in the lounge of the Roxy Hotel in New York City during her much loved Friday night residency. She has played bass with the likes of Maya Rudolph in her Prince cover band 'Princess', Lydia Lunch, and toured internationally as a vocalist for Telepopmusik. ”Sylvia Black returns from the shadows with Shadowtime, a lush, self-possessed statement from an Indie Rock, femme fatale who’s been quietly shaping dark music on her own terms for years. Across 11 tracks, Black folds post-punk urgency, new-romantic glamour, and gauzy shoegaze into immersive soundscapes that feel both nostalgic and defiantly forward-looking." - BUST MAGAZINE
