The local legend prog rockers Florida Night heat bang it out one more time at Crowbar!

Sean O'Brien and Effren Denson are excited to announce their new company, Sorta Pretty Good. O'Brien co-founder of Brokenmold Entertainment, Gasparilla Music Fest, Antiwarpt, Cass Street Deli, Screen Door Microcinema and more, is teaming up with Denson, owner of A Blowfly clothing line, and WeVegan Eats Café to start a new event and clothing brand. It's fitting that their first event will be a show in the final 2 months of the legendary Crowbar before it closes in July. Because, their first collaborations were hosting an MF DOOM party there and a sold out De La Day party featuring Prince Paul.

For Sorta Pretty Goods first and last show at Crowbar they will be hosting a reunion of Tampa scene stalwarts, Florida Night Heat and 2 of their favorite bands from each side of the Bay, Saint Petersburg's Soft Cuff and Tampa's Hovercar!

"Soft Cuff is a spellbinding new collaboration melding the complementary talents of 4 of Tampa Bay's most popular and innovative musicians. Brian Schanck, Mikey Bostinino, Tina Sanchez and Shane Schuch, have created a unique instrumental soundscape shaped by their collective backgrounds and genres ranging from indie to psych to soul and intriguing points in between. The resulting vibe can evoke a smoky club from 70 years in the past or an extraterrestrial bistro 70 years in the future. But it always sounds as fresh as your next night on the town."

Soft grunge from Florida.

"In reality, Hovercar's kind of music is the kind of stuff that can define someone's coming-of-age"
