Musical Style: Gospel, Soul

Solomon J. Chapman, Sr. is a Denver-based creative pianist and composer with a unique musical style that fuses traditions of Gospel Music, Jazz, and Western Classical Music. With deference, dynamic sensitivity and infectious energy, Solomon regularly performs in genre-crossing, improvisational contexts. His desire is for listeners to experience the “joy of living” in his music. Artists that Solomon has performed with include Ron Miles, Don Byron, Derrick Hodge, Shane Endsley, Rudy Royston, Anisha Rush, JoFoKe, and countless others. As a 2019 recipient of Boulder County Art Alliance’s Pathways to Jazz Grant, Solomon is set to release his debut jazz album in the Fall of 2026.

RCF Worship is a collective of vocalists and musicians that seek to share hope and inspiration through modern and soulful expressions of Gospel music.
