Silent Disco Club is a brand new collective of band members from MAXIV, James Milano, Hippies With Money, and Gonzo's Attic to create a smorgasbord of funk, indie rock, and pop (with a latin flare). We're excited to be releasing our first single "For Your Love" on May 9th, and the full EP on May 23rd. Second Place Theory (indie, shoegaze, synth, rock) began as a solo project, just one girl in her bedroom trying to express the noise in her soul. Over the years, it has evolved into a full band—an ethereal cascade of gritty guitars, immense synths, and vocals that shimmer like light through a dense fog. The soundscapes feel like stepping into a dream you can’t quite escape. “Grungy or something, with a super lush vocal,” Second Place Theory builds shoegaze-inspired music that feels both weightless and weighted, deeply emotional yet transcendental. In the swirling haze of sound and feeling, Second Place Theory asks you to lose yourself—and maybe find yourself, too.
