Seattle musician Amy Laybourn delivers an engaging blend of folk, rock and soul in her original tunes. She grew up playing classical music, but shelved music for decades until a spontaneous $50 piano purchase from Value Village rekindled her musical journey. Since that serendipitous day, she has embarked on a transformative path of self expression, passionately crafting songs that blend introspection with powerful and soulful melodies. Amy sings from the heart, weaving life’s joys and sorrows into honest and brave compositions. A strong advocate for creativity at any age, she teaches music, actively contributes to the local arts community and encourages others to discover and follow their passions.
Eva Acton Stokes is a classically trained progressive baroque art pop singer songwriter. She was known in her birth city, Denver, for fronting a college band when she was only fourteen. After graduating high school Eva toured Europe solo, landing in England where she was signed to an independent label owned by songwriting legend Pete Brown of CREAM. The resulting EP attracted offers from Los Angeles, so Eva moved there and created a rock orchestra she named Kali Yuga, headlining all the major clubs while modeling and acting on the side. She was offered a deal with Capitol/EMI by legendary music exec Artie Mogull, who compared her songwriting and musical style to Laura Nyro and Kate Bush. After months of negotiation Eva chose to remain independent and learned to produce and record her own albums. She now lives in Shoreline, WA and performs with her new band, 'The Zipper Chimps.'
