Sasha Dobson returns to her hometown with a plentiful and heartfelt body of original music as well as 25 years of experience touring and performing on the NY jazz and singer songwriter scene. Sasha tours under her own name and numerous times with Norah Jones , as her guitarist and back up vocalist but also with their collaboration band, Puss n Boots ( a three piece vocal group consisting of Sasha, Norah J and Catherine’s Popper). Sasha has opened for Willie Nelson, Neil young and also plays drums for the legendary Pi power Trio lead by B52s guitarist Pat Irwin.

Dobson says her greatest most profound influence in art and in life were her parents, bay Area jazz royalty, Smith and Gail Dobson. Her father Bay Area Jazz legend, Smith Dobson and mother, San Francisco native music educator and jazz vocalist Gail Dobson. Sasha brother and hero, multi-instrumentalist, Smith Dobson Jr will be a featured artist on this show.

Sasha will be sharing a hybrid of original music and a few jazz standards. Trading instruments with her brother Smith Dobson and even debuting some of the newest songs written for her forth coming album.
