Hailing from the plains of South Dakota, the musical beginnings of Aage Birch hit the road at an early age performing under the moniker Onward, etc. After spending years traveling the globe, Onward, etc. released the albums ‘Old Soul’ and ‘Sonder On’ to critical acclaim, international attention, and various collaborations with longtime heroes and new friends. A rich blend of folk, americana, and rock and roll passion, the consciousness of Aage Birch was fully realized with the self-release of ‘I Hope This Finds You Well.’ Raw, heavy and honest, Aage Birch is songwriting that opens the soul up for examination and reveals inner truths that cut to the core like glass on flesh.
Aage Birch has had the privilege of sharing the studio and stage with Flogging Molly, Lucero, Murder By Death, Devotchka, Aaron Gillespie, Dropkick Murphys, Skinny Lister, Frank Turner, Jason DeVore, Dave Hause, The Goddamn Gallows, Larry And His Flask and performing at Bonnaroo, The Vans Warped Tour, Flogging Molly’s Salty Dog Cruise, Summerfest, FEST, Vail Rocks, SXSW, CMJ Music Fest and the Alaska State Fair, among others.
Aage Birch is the force behind music that will drive a primitive rhythm. It will lead you to a place where old meets new, a place where primal secrets will be shared, and age old truths will be revealed. It is the place you were meant to find all along. Welcome to the next chapter of Aage Birch.

Jeremy Bauer has been drumming since the age of 10, honing his craft through years of marching band performances—from junior high to college—culminating in his induction into the Boise State University Blue Thunder Marching Band Hall of Fame. After his drumline days, Jeremy performed with the Celtic punk band Amadan, where he expanded his musical palette to include spoons, bodhrán, Irish whistle, and banjo. He now performs with Coming Up Threes, a beloved Pacific Northwest fixture in Celtic-inspired music. For over 25 years, Jeremy has been a percussive force and onstage instigator, known for sparking crowd energy. This rare solo performance showcases his rhythmic roots and inventive use of live looping to layer percussion, melody, and heart—without the band, but not without the spirit.
