SCATTER SWEPT
—
Scatter Swept make and play post-rock and indie rock in Oakland, California. Ryohei Hinokuma (guitar and bass), Matt Holt (guitar and bass), and Patricia Kavanaugh (drums, guitar, and vocals) began writing songs as a trio in 2017 after previously playing together in the band, Brookhaven. As Scatter Swept, they collaborated with Brookhaven to write and record the 2019 album, ‘Modern Remains’.
THINGS OF YOUTH
—
An oddity of indie, folk, and rock music, The Things of Youth (ToY), led by Jon Fee. It's hard to say if he's a singer/songwriter cranking up the volume when he pleases or an experimental outlet for orchestral synth pop or an avant-garde folk act arsing around with instruments. ToY is all of that and more, since Fee surrounds himself with incredible musicians and lets them do their thing.
NYTE SKYE
—
Nyte Skye is a rock band from the SF Bay Area, with Nyles Lannon on guitar/vox, Skye Lannon on drums, David Gould on bass and Nichole Kreglow on synths/guitar/vox.
