An evening of new music and old forms of storytelling

This magical night will open with the mesmerizing Susie George of Song of the Soos Theater on vocals, accompanied by the talented Kevin Zoernig on grand piano, playing a mix of classic jazz standards and original compositions that promise to stir your soul and ignite your senses. With special guest puppet appearances, Susie will take you on an eccentric musical adventure.

 

Ponderose will take the stage for the second half of the evening with their original Alt-Country, rooted in lyrical storytelling, 3 part harmony, and melodic rock riffs.  A theatrical surprise at the end of the night will bring the two groups together and leave the audience singing.

ABOUT PONDEROSE

Ponderose is a six-piece Indie Alt Country band making music in the glow of the northern New Mexico mountains. They’ve combined their long and diverse musical backgrounds with decades long friendships and mystically crossed paths. Their original songs are rooted in the lyrical storytelling tradition of classic country and are backed with a unique combination of fingerpicking, melodic rock riffs, and a lap steel to make you weep. From tender love songs to raucous and righteous ballads, their rich and swoon-worthy three part harmonies will have you equal parts crying into your sleeve and shaking your body on the dance floor.

Song of the Soos is the theater and puppetry work of Susie George. Susie is a puppeteer, storyteller, harpist and singer who resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Unit B is a dinner theater-style performance space, in which dining and entertainment happen simultaneously within the same space. You will be seated in the same seat throughout the evening, for both dinner and the show.

Our restaurant typically opens 1.5-2 hours before the show, and food and drink are available throughout the evening.

We will look up your ticket purchase by name when you arrive. There is no need to print your tickets in advance.

Your show ticket entitles you to a seat in the space, which will be allotted on a first-come first-served basis. To guarantee that we are able to accommodate your whole party together, or to request a specific seating area, you are highly encouraged to make a table reservation in addition to your ticket purchase. You can do so by emailing us at hello@unitbsantafe.com with the following information:

-Number of people in your party

-Estimated arrival time

-Whether you have already purchased tickets to the show (tickets are required in order to make a dinner reservation)

-Whether anyone in your party has mobility restrictions that prevent them from going upstairs or sitting in a bar-height chair

For groups of 5 or more, a table reservation is required in order to ensure you will sit together.

Please note that while we do our best to accommodate specific seating requests, depending on the size of your party and the order in which your reservation is received, we may not always be able to do so.

If you have purchased tickets in the VIP section or front row you do NOT need to email us for a table reservation.
