ABOUT [mix]TAPE

Mixtape /ˈmikstāp/ noun A compilation of favorite pieces of music, typically by different artists, recorded onto a cassette tape or other medium by an individual. This is the essence of the NH Seacoast a cappella group, aptly named [mix]tape.

With a repertoire as varied as the members, they seek to encompass as many genres as possible, spanning years beyond their collective. They aim to guide listeners on a musical journey by tugging at audience’s heartstrings, evoking nostalgia, and paying homage to great songs of many decades past to modern day radio. [mix]tape’s style of vocal music inspires a connection, which they share directly from the stage to their audiences.
