Milonga began making some noise in the Spokane music scene around 2001 and remains a household name 25 years later.
Blending a plethora of colorful original tunes with a handful of covers, The Inland NW’s Hardest-Hitting band serves up a Pan-Latin buffet where all the best dishes are presented as regional dance styles, in a mix that’s straight outa your abuelita’s kitchen.
Over the years, Milonga has spearheaded the Inland NW Latin music scene
by exposing audiences to a myriad of both popular and obscure musical traditions found throughout Latin America, Spain, and the Caribbean.
The band is notorious for drawing a widely diverse audience with its festive sound. The listener doesn’t necessarily need to be Spanish fluent to catch the vibe in the air at a Milonga show.
They beckon the public to shed its differences for a couple hours and party like neighbors.
Milonga’s infectious grooves can take the most manly of men and turn them into hip-shaking Shakiras. In a world of Salsa, Milonga is the Whole Enchilada!
