Junglepussy (born Shayna McHayle), is an unapologetically bold and fiercely original multi-hyphenate artist who has been pushing the boundaries of hip-hop since she first burst onto the scene. Known for her razor-sharp lyricism, unapologetic confidence, and genre-defying sound, she blends social commentary with humor, empowerment, and raw authenticity. Her debut mixtape Satisfaction Guaranteed quickly caught the attention of critics and fans alike, and her following projects, including Pregnant with Success and Jp3, further cemented her status as a rising star in the music world.

The Brookyln (with roots in Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago) native’s music isn’t just about beats and bars—it’s about empowering her listeners to embrace their identity and walk with confidence in their own skin. Her unfiltered style touches on everything from self-love to sexuality, gender politics, and mental health, all while delivering bangers that make you want to move. She’s graced stages from the US to Europe, with her electric performances turning every concert into an unforgettable experience.

On the acting front, she made her debut in the independent feature Support The Girls opposite Regina Hall, which she followed up with the Netflix feature  The Perfect Find opposite Gabrielle Union. She will next be seen in the  Warner Brothers feature  One Battle After Another, one again opposite Regina Hall, as well as Leonardo DiCaprio, Benecio Del Toro, Sean Penn and Teyana Taylor. 

She has also been an Adjunct Professor in the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts since Fall 2023.
