Levitation Room, a psychedelic quartet from Los Angeles, delivers a cosmic wall of sound that feels like floating through time. Their music blends dreamy guitar riffs, lo-fi textures, and the trippy essence of 1960s psychedelic rock and garage, while adding a modern indie dreamgaze twist. Drawing inspiration from the Summer of Love, their hallucinogenic songs evoke sunny park days with friends and explore themes of life, love, and self-awareness. Influenced by British Invasion bands like The Beatles and The Kinks, as well as 60s psych outfits like The Grateful Dead, the band’s sound is both nostalgic and forward-looking. Since their 2012 formation, Levitation Room has released multiple records, including their debut EP Minds of Our Own and full-length album Ethos, while captivating audiences across the US and Europe with their euphoric, genre-blending performances.
