La Paloma Presents: Songs for the Earth

A Jazz Celebration for Indigenous Peoples Day

Join La Paloma for an unforgettable evening of music, storytelling, and celebration in honor of Indigenous Peoples Day. Through a powerful blend of jazz and ancestral sounds, Paloma Rose honors the rich cultural tapestry and enduring spirit of Indigenous communities.

Featuring original compositions sung in Nahuatl—one of the Indigenous languages of Mexico—this performance weaves together stories of her ancestors from the Southwest, visions of peace, and melodies rooted in joy, love, and reverence for the earth. With each song, La Paloma invites the audience to reflect on our shared heritage, remembering that all our ancestors once walked this earth as its original caretakers.

This is more than a concert—it’s a musical offering of healing, connection, and celebration of cultural diversity. Come experience music that embraces the joy of being Indigenous, the beauty of unity, and the timeless call to care for each other and the planet we share.
