knuckle beach was started as a venture into punk music by a group of long time friends, having been inspired by a concert in october of 2018 and a sudden opening in a dingy practice space. since then the band has set out with the goal of "aiming to be a pop-punk pavement" and seeks to blend the post-hardcore of their youth with the slacker rock of their early adulthood.

knuckle beach released their debut ep "no lifeguard on duty” in 2022. after a brief hiatus, they are back performing in seattle and are currently working on their upcoming lp.
