Folk luminary Kath Bloom returns to The Kite for a night of songs. She will be accompanied by David Shapiro on guitar. New York City artist Miriam Elhajli will open.

Kath Bloom is an underground folk music legend. Her albums with Loren Connors are cult classics. Her song "Come Here" was famously used in the Richard Linklater movie Before Sunrise. Chapter Music released a tribute album to Kath including covers by Devendra Banhart, Josephine Foster, Bill Callahan, and many more. Since 2017, she has been playing with David Shapiro on lead guitar.

miriam elhajli is a folk singer, improviser, and musicologist. she lives in new york state where she performs songs and works as a researcher at the association for cultural equity. she has a cat named habibti and a neighbor named moondog, she is thirty years old and isn't allergic to peanuts.
