This event is All Ages

Dubbed by Rolling Stone as "a genre unto herself," Brooklyn, NY-based Kaki King has proven to be just that.  Her career has taken her all over the world, sharing stages with Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters, contributing music to award-winning films (Sean Penn's Into The Wild), and performing at the London Jazz Festival and the Paris Les Femmes s'en Melent.  Her explorations into the guitar and multimedia have led to the creation of groundbreaking work such as The Neck Is A Bridge To The Body, Modern Yesterdays, and a new multi-media musical production for children called BUGS. Kaki continues to create, perform, and lend her musical voice to the forefront of contemporary music, as shown on her 2025 EP, Tutto Passa, and recent album, SEI, the soundtrack to a unique performance piece where guitarists become dancers, coordinating their whole bodies to perform the rigors of both choreography and composition.  Endorsed by Ovation Guitars, Kaki released the EP Stop Sometime last August and remains a force on the music scene, touring Italy and Germany in the fall and performing both solo and BUGS shows throughout parts of the United States into 2026, while also and scheduling yet another EP for release on February 13.

To Mark Schwaber, the art of distilling beauty from desolation is a familiar one. The sonic expression of his sincere relationship with darkness binds together the many albums that he has recorded over the last several years. His most recent work, Everything Around Me, continues this journey. Written in the months leading up to and after his mother’s passing, the album captures a devastating epoch in Schwaber’s life.

The entirety of the record was engineered, performed, and produced by Schwaber in his own home. Intimate moments pulled from Schwaber’s past surface throughout the album: memories that gained potency during this tragic period in his life. Synths and programmed drums color the songs, a nostalgic nod to an 80’s childhood. The result is a lush portrait of grief - a dark and private world brought to light.

Mark is a musician who has toured 19 countries and worked in studios with Lloyd Cole, Shadows Fall, Lou Barlow (Sebadoh, Dinosaur Jr), Fred Maher (Lou Reed), Joan Wasser (Joan as Policewoman), Matthew Sweet, and Mary Lou Lord. Mark has also released award-winning music under the monikers Hospital, and Home. As well as 5 eponymous releases, with a 6th due in the Winter of 2020 entitled “Everything Around Me” On Jack London Records. He is also starting a new collaborative project with friend Sheri Hupfer (of artemis.)
