FROM BEATLES & CROSBY, TO BRAD MEHLDAU & ORIGINALS
James Raymond and his band are back on the Unit B stage for a night of beautifully reinterpreted songs from Beatles to Neil Young, David Crosby and Brad Mehldau, as well as originals, played by the incomparable James Raymond, Jon Gagan and Robbie Rothschild.
Raymond is the son of rock legend David Crosby and toured extensively with his father during his lifetime, co-writing songs and producing five Crosby albums. Jon Gagan is one of the most prolific bass players and audio engineers in Santa Fe, and Robbie Rothschild is one of the most creative drummers in New Mexico. Tonight's music will be full of improvisation and leaning into the jazz sensibility of these artists.
As well as playing with Crosby, Stills and Nash, Raymond's credits include The Spice Girls, Oleta Adams, Ronnie Laws, Gerald Albright, Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, Kirk Whelum, Evert Harp, Norman Brown and many others. His film credits include The Great Family, My Name is Myesha, Extra Ordinary, The Binding, Thats What I Am, Legendary, August Rush and 28 Days.
