Harry Bartlett is an award-winning guitarist and composer whose music blends the freedom of jazz with the precision of bluegrass. Born in British Columbia and now based between Toronto and Nashville, he draws on a wide palette of genres to create music that feels both grounded and emotionally direct. He has performed and recorded with Béla Fleck, Tray Wellington, and Chris Eldridge, and leads Mountain Air, a project exploring the intersections of acoustic traditions and improvisation. Joined by his long-time collaborator Evan Snoey, Bartlett presents Mountain Air, praised as “contemplative and exquisite... with a delicacy combining classical, string band, and jazz elements” (The Whole Note) Onstage, the duo grows into an intricate tapestry of melody and texture, grounded in their shared musical language.
