We are going back inside for the second and possibly last GG of 2025. It's been no easy feat battling the capitalism gods to keep the DIY spirit of these gatherings alive. So this a loud call out to all massive. Your energy and sadly, dollars too are bigly required to cook this groovy soup. Need all the support.

Friday, Sep 5, Akanbi will open the ceremonies, rolling through mind-expanding & playful frequencies as we settle in. It's a joy to have Karlala Soundsystem provide the system for this one. Super excited to hear how those pink stacks sound on Planet Groovy. We are switching up the location for this one too. It's a spacious warehouse space with a large outdoor zone for fresh Ridgewood air. Lighting installations from the mind of Waldo Walle will be on display through the space.

As we begin to near peak boogie hours, our first guest pilots will take control of the groovy ship. It's Dubstep season so we've brought a pair of ambassadors of the iconic sound over from Bristol. Biggest salute to Kahn & Neek. They are synonymous with a style that incorporated the raw, darker elements from within Dubstep and Grime music with influences from Dancehall, Goth and Middle Eastern musical traditions. If you're not familiar, have trust, be present. 

We've tasked a pair of New York's underground club music champions to land the spaceship. Jubilee and The Large will go ankle to ankle for 3 hours until the sun comes up. We've been longing to pair them up since we had them at our collabo party BIG ROOM BOOGIE w/ the SLINK babes. If you were present for that set, you know the vibe. Otherwise, don’t play yourself, come & eat. 

Location will be released to groovy newsletter members and all ticket holders alone on the day of the event. Location is in Ridgewood, Brooklyn.

In purchasing, Buyer agrees to, and acknowledges receipt, review, and understanding of, the following:

Buyer agrees that this sale is final and is not refundable under any circumstances.

Buyer acknowledges that Seller reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, and especially that all entry is subject to Seller's and/or event organizer's or event venue's own admission criteria, at their discretion, which shall be absolute.

Buyer agrees that refusal of entry, ejection from premises, or failure to receive or to enjoy any good or service, is not grounds for refund nor dispute of charge.

Buyer acknowledges purchase does not guarantee receipt of any good or service, and does not absolutely ensure entry nor uninterrupted enjoyment of/to any event.

Buyer agrees in perpetuity to not dispute the validity of this charge with any banking or credit institution, nor in any court, and further agrees to reimburse Seller for any sum related to this purchase that is refunded or granted to the Buyer by any banking or credit institution, or by any court, plus any legal costs or collection fees plus any damages suffered by the Seller in defending against such dispute, or resultant from any disparagement of the Seller by the Buyer directly or indirectly related to such dispute, in treble, to the satisfaction of the Seller, at the Seller's sole discretion.

In the event that Buyer files a dispute of any kind regarding this charge, Buyer grants Seller unlimited right to use Buyer's likeness and identifying information and contact information in advertisement or public notice, of any form the Seller chooses, as well as agrees that Seller may share the same with other advanced ticketing vendors and event venues and event organizers, for the purposes of maintaining and seeking public awareness of a list of "bad faith" customers.

Buyer further affirms that buyer has read and understood this agreement before completing purchase, and has had the opportunity to seek legal counsel, and further agrees that any invalidation or ruling of enforceability of any part or section of the above shall not invalidate all other sections and clauses herein, which shall otherwise remain in effect to the greatest extent possible, and Buyer agrees to nonetheless remain bound to in perpetuity.
