Musical Style: Free Jazz
The Gabriel Gravagno trio tributes the great Paul Motian, bandleader drummer and forward thinking composer. His trio with Bill Frissel and Joe Lovano changed the definition of what a trio could be, and inspired many free thinking musicians. This show will also feature compositions by Gravagno that were inspired by the trio.
