Darkswoon is a Portland, Oregon-based electronic shoegaze trio known for blending darkwave, post-punk, and dream pop, featuring Jana Cushman (vocals, guitar), Rachel Ellis (synths, beats), and Norah Lynn (bass). Formed from Jana Cushman's solo bedroom project, the band creates atmospheric soundscapes with ethereal vocals, electronic rhythms, and melodic bass, drawing comparisons to early 4AD artists while maintaining a modern, queer, and introspective edge. They've released acclaimed albums like Bind (2019) and Bloom Decay (2022) and contribute to indie film soundtracks.
