An Album Release Celebration

Join Bululú for the release celebration of DOMÉSTICO: From the Border of Home, our third album and most ambitious project to date.

An entirely original collection of music, DOMÉSTICO is a sonic portrait of everyday lives of Latinx communities in the Bay Area at this particular moment in time. The album explores themes of resistance, immigration, LGBTQ+ identity, women’s rights, spirituality, and cultural empowerment—all grounded in the intimate, sometimes chaotic, and often extraordinary experience of daily life in these challenging times.

Produced by Grammy-nominated producer Rafa Pino, DOMÉSTICO pushes Bululú’s signature blend of Venezuelan and Caribbean rhythms into new territory, creating a bold and innovative contribution to contemporary Latin music.

The celebration will be a full evening of music, dancing, and community, Bululú style. DJ Agana will warm up the dance floor, followed by a high-energy set by Bululú featuring music from DOMÉSTICO and beyond. Expect plenty of surprises, special guests, and a good dose of fun.

The date is at legendary Ashkenaz in Berkeley, on Saturday, August 22. Come celebrate with us as we bring DOMÉSTICO to life—an album about the world we inhabit, the lives we lead, and the ways we resist, love, dance, and create community together.
