A low-volume, dog-friendly early show with dog costume contest and live music from Carl Christensen + Sara Camille

Above all else, Carl Christensen is a storyteller. With Springsteen’s “man of the people” attitude and John Prine’s wit & charm, Christensen weaves nuanced narratives that you can hang your heart on, but will still make you chuckle. In their review of the 2023 song, “Trophy Husband” Nashville based blog, Music Mecca called Christensen, “the embodiment of PNW alt-country.” In 2025 Christensen returned to the studio to record the follow up to his 2023 record, Actor, Singer, Liar, Stripper. This new material branches away from ASLS’s Country roots and shows Christensen and the band dabbling in new genres such as Emo, 80’s rock, Pop-Punk, and Post-Rock while maintaining his trademark sense of humor.
