Get ready for a night of improvisational magic as we celebrate the songbook of the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band with an all-star lineup. This Wednesday promises deep grooves, cosmic jams, and spontaneous musical exploration, featuring the powerhouse drumming of Anna Elva, the virtuosity of Reed Mathis on guitar and vocals, the delightful antics of the one and only Mookie Siegel on keyboards/vocals & deep bass grooves of Murph Murphy.
The Band:
Reed Mathis is a master of improvisation, known for his work with Billy & the Kids, Electric Beethoven, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey & Tea Leaf Green. With a career spanning decades of relentless touring, he’s collaborated with some of the biggest names in rock, jazz, and jam music, always pushing boundaries with his unique approach.
Anna Elva brings dynamic energy and deep-pocket grooves to the mix, with a knack for psychedelic improvisation. A versatile drummer with a relentless sense of rhythm, she is known for her ability to drive a jam into uncharted territory.
The keyboard wizardry of Mookie Siegel catapults the music into a whole other dimension of unexpected twists, turns, flutes and accordions. Watch out.
Murph Murphy's improvisational instincts make him a perfect fit for this journey. A regular with Stu Allen & Mars Hotel, Murph is well-known and loved in the extended Grateful Dead musical family.
Come lose yourself in the music, dance like nobody’s watching, and experience the spirit of the Bay Area's own Grateful Dead.
