The gathering honors Ashkenaz founder David Nadel, who first introduced Balkan folk dancing at the venue in 1973!

The Dancing: The night begins with a beginner-friendly lesson at 7:00 PM, followed by open social dancing.

The Music: Rhythms and regional styles span Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, and Romani culture.

Ashkenaz is all ages, all the time. Kids and minors are always welcome. Those 12 or under are admitted FREE (unless otherwise noted).
