Experimental Resonance
Presented as the opening night of the 28th Music at the Anthology (MATA) Festival, Experimental Resonance brings together the worlds of experimental electroacoustic music and contemporary club culture for an evening exploring the sonic possibilities that emerge at their intersection.
Curated and moderated by DJ, clarinetist, and community organizer Eric Umble, the evening unfolds as a progressive journey across live performance, ambient and downtempo DJ sets, experimental sound design, and techno. Featuring artists whose practices move fluidly between concert music, improvisation, electronics, and nightlife culture, and creates space for both performance and conversation, inviting audiences to hear directly from the artists about their process, perspective, and creative practice.
