Musical Style: Jazz

The TV Trio dates back to the 1990s when they played at the West End Tavern in Boulder, CO. After a hiatus as a band, the trio started getting together regularly again in 2023 and continue to thoroughly enjoy these sessions. Everybody brings some tunes to play, and Eric and Art each play half the time on drums and half on piano. Now it is time to share these satisfying journeys with the listening community.

All three of these musicians are well known to jazz aficionados in Colorado and beyond. The list of Who's Who in Jazz doesn’t begin to explain all the iconic artists who have shared stage and recordings with each of the TV Trio members as well as great bands they have played with. They are clearly part of the living history of the music they have dedicated their lives to, as is clearly evidenced in their creativity and their ability to connect with and develop the music.

TV Trio will play the repertoire of the Great American Songbook, little heard pieces from international jazz composers, and original compositions. Come and listen to this intriguing trio — two bands in one!
