Spend the weekend in Saxapahaw for the “Saxapahaw Sleepover!” Enjoy a whole weekend in the historic village! Check out the Saxapahaw Campgrounds and sleep down by the riverside on 10 acres of wooded land right by the river with cabins, camping spots and tree pods; or try Terrastay Farm or the many Airbnbs to choose from. Kayak the Haw River with Haw River Canoe and Kayak, hike the Saxapahaw Island and surrounding Haw River Trails, find the Hammocks! Try out the restaurants, the Saxapahaw General Store and The Eddy, Haw River Farmhouse Ales, Cup 22 Coffeehouse and Left Bank Butchery, check out the workshop and shop at Riverside Collective and get a mocktail and record at Saxy- A-Gogo. Paperhand Puppet has a community workday on Saturday from 10-5. Saturdays in Saxaphaw with Wilson Springs Hotel is from 5-8 the Haw River Ballroom is hosting a free dance party starting right after Saturdays in Saxapahw and head to 2 Dam Goods and the new Studio above the post office for late night drinks and games!

It's the 20th anniversary of Saturdays in Saxapahaw!! The weekly festivities include performances by local bands and a thriving Farmer’s Market with fresh local produce, eggs, baked goods, flowers, honey, locally produced microbrews, handmade arts and crafts, food trucks, ice cream and more! Festivities take place every Saturday with the market opening at 5pm and music going from 6 to 8pm from the first Saturday in May through last Saturday in August. Admission is free though donations are appreciated, organizers will have our famous “Swan Buckets” on stage each week and Swan Venmo information posted for the bands! Please give what you can to these wonderful musicians!
