The Sapphic Social Club
The Sapphic Social Club is a Denver-based event company led by two queer organizers, Alayna Shaw (she/they) and Erica Wilder (she/her). They met in 2021 and bonded over their shared love of activism and community building. Since the spring of 2022, they have hosted many sold-out events for the Denver sapphic // queer community and have donated over $12,000 to various values-aligned, grassroots LGBTQIA+ serving organizations with the proceeds from their events. Their events are typically themed dance parties featuring local DJs, drag/burlesque performers, and also typically have activations such as crafting (for the introverts ;)), a photo booth, etc. They also rent out their photo booth to other event organizers via a sliding scale rate! Give them a follow on Instagram or sign up for their email list here!
