Join us for an unforgettable celebration of song, story, and community at the Folk, Roots, & Americana Music Festival—a gathering of artists who carry tradition forward while shaping the sound of today.
The Mammals bring high-energy, heart-forward Americana that connects audiences of all ages. With string-band fire, indie-folk depth, and socially conscious storytelling, they create a live experience that is both a celebration and a call to connection. Mike Merenda and Ruth Ungar are known for rafter-raising performances, pin-drop balladry, and a rare ability to move crowds from dancing to reflecting and back again. Their 2025 double album, Touch Grass Vol. 1 & 2, explores themes of freedom, kinship, and ecological repair.
Also taking the stage is the Michael Veitch Band, featuring the acclaimed singer-songwriter whose soaring tenor voice and fluid guitar work have earned him national recognition. Veitch’s songs are rooted in storytelling—exploring love, activism, memory, and hope—with a warmth and sincerity that resonate deeply. A veteran of the folk circuit, he has shared stages with icons and brings a lifetime of musical and lived experience to every performance.
Opening the festival is Doozy Jane, a dynamic quartet delivering lush four-part treble harmonies that reimagine classic sounds through a contemporary, feminist lens. With a distinctive blend of fiddle, clarinet, guitar, and bass, they present original songs and inventive arrangements that draw inspiration from both historic and modern voices in American folk and popular music.
Together, these artists create a rich tapestry of folk traditions, modern roots music, and Americana spirit. Whether you come for the harmonies, the storytelling, or the sense of connection, this festival offers a powerful reminder of music’s ability to bring people together.
