Boston Based Dub Apocalypse has carved out their own place in the world of Reggae Music. 

Unapologetic purist fans of Roots and Dub, but always pushing the musical limits into more prog and fusion directions live.  Blending the band's influences in a unique style all their own.

Dub Apocalypse  band members are Tommy Benedetti-drums,Van Gordon Martin-guitar,Johnny Trama-guitar,Aaron Bellamy-bass,and Timo Shanko-sax/bass.  The band came together in 2007, led by drummer Tommy Benedetti and guitarist, Johnny Trama.Tommy Benedetti is one of the founding members of American Reggae Pioneers ,John Brown's Body.

Selector D has been curating and sharing his Crate of Niceness since nineteen how long - pause cassette mixes off of American Top Forty - sweaty vinyl basement jams - weddings, birthdays and bat/bar mitzvahs - plus nearly 4 decades of reggae radio broadcasting at Burlington VT's WRUV, NYC's Hunter College WHCS and Brattleboro's "radio free brattleboro" & WVEW-LPFM.

The music selected emanates from the likkle island of Jamaica but the result is a diasporic celebration of the power of black liberation music that incorporates Medellin, Brixton, the Bronx, and points beyond.
