Blaque Dynamite has been an undeniable force in music for over a decade. This Grammy-nominated artist has redefined the term “prodigy”. Before he could even vote, he had already shared stages with Chick Corea, Erykah Badu, Herbie Hancock, Kamasi Washington, Stanley Clarke, Thundercat, and Willow Smith. Blaque Dynamite blends jaw-dropping technical skill with an electric stage presence. His sound—a fearless fusion of jazz, funk, gospel, metal and everything in between—has set fire to stages on five of the seven continents!

The Blaque Dynamite Trio is beyond comprehension. Somehow flawlessly mixing virtuosic playing with beautiful, soulful compositions and melodies.

Blaque Dynamite handles the drumkit, all percussive elements, and the lead vocals. Kwinton Gray plays ALL keyboards as well as background vocals, and Max Gerl plays electric and upright bass. Each member is able to wow the audience with prestigious ability on their instrument, BUT their chemistry is really what makes this group so special.

Blaque Dynamite releases music through Dolfin Records, an independent record label established by himself and fellow Dallas Musicians in 2015.

Having worked with Stephen Kellogg, David Bottrill (Tool, Peter Gabriel), Kristin Hoffmann, David Gamson (Me'shell N'Degeocello), and Dispatch, Darian Cunning has been making his ears bigger and building an audience of colleagues and fans.

Comparisons have been drawn to artists such as Stevie Wonder, Martin Sexton, Sting, and Seal. His influences are far-reaching. It's in his music. Listen to the songs, and you realize that his influences may seem polar; they are, in fact, undiluted; the resultant mixture is pure and all his own. The Police, Santana, Bob Marley, and James Taylor were dovetailed with Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers to Ravel, and Tchaikovsky.
