Benjamin Andrews is a guitarist, lyricist, vocalist and legend in Bay Area rock‘n’roll. Equally at home playing a dive bar or a festival stage in front of thousands of people, Andrews has spent the last 20 years in and around San Francisco, making a name for himself as a guitar virtuoso with jaw-dropping chops, a natural showmanship and deeply expressive style. As a veteran member of the acclaimed R&B/modern soul band Con Brio, he’s performed at the likes of Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, Outside Lands, Lollapalooza, Japan’s FujiRock and Australia’s Byron Bay BluesFest. 

2025’s YOU’RE DOING GREAT was Andrews’ first major solo work, recorded at Con Brio’s Oakland studio. While sweeping, cinematic strings and driving rhythms accompany Andrews’ typically stunning guitar work, his soulful vocals take center stage here, drawing the listener close with conflicted meditations on love and self-destruction, death and rebirth. In 2026, SUCCESS ENSEMBLE sees Andrews push himself as a composer, constructing and evoking meaning and movement with a shifting ensemble of favored collaborators.

Oona Garthwaite is a California musician and lyricist whose work spans from singer-songwriter indie folk to full-blown, full- band shimmer pop, with a track record of powerhouse live performances. On her upcoming EP, Oona is joined by Bay Area steadies Benjamin Andrews, Jae Jackson, and Richelle Scales to craft a collection of candid pop songs with plainspoken lyrics and a singular voice.

JACOB ARANDA

Jacob Aranda is a multi-instrumentalist and member of San Francisco’s legendary folk-psych band Tarnation. Originally from Illinois, he studied guitar making in Spain and moved to the bay area to be a furniture maker. His music is in the tradition of songwriters like Townes Van Zandt, Leonard Cohen, and Jay Farrar to name a few. Jacob’s music features a solemn gravity that weaves melancholy with beautiful and haunting, often cinematic images of traveling through landscapes both external and internal.
